Balanced Raw Grind for Dogs - Turkey, Pork & Seafood - Biologically Appropriate

Our Foundation Grind line of nutrient balanced foods comes to you fresh from our kitchen in Philadelphia.  All of our Foundation Grind formulas are based on the Biologically Appropriate Raw Food model, and will include real foods in all forms - animal and vegetation.

We create all of our Foundation Grind formulas to meet or exceed recommended nutrient levels.  Basically, this means we've made sure all nutrients that the American Association of Feed Control Officials deem are essential to dogs are included in our blends.  (It's important to know that AAFCO recommended nutrient levels are based on a DRY food diet and there are no standards currently in place by AAFCO that are based on fresh or raw diets.  This gap leaves out some important natural nutrients that we make sure to include.)

Turkey and pork are sourced locally from small farms.  Our proteins are pasture raised, grass fed or wild caught.  Our seafoods are all wild caught.  

The pasture raised turkey comes from Mirror Image Farms in Bainbridge, PA, Horseshoe Ranch in Pottstown, PA and Keiser's Pheasantry in Glen Rock, PA.  The Mangalitsa pork is from Stone Arch Farm in Lititz, PA.  

We don't add chemically created vitamins and minerals to our food blends.  We make sure all nutrients come from food sources.  Because of this, our blends might look a little different than you're used to!  These are heavier on fresh herbs, which contribute to providing necessary amounts of nutrients, like Vitamin E!  

We recommend starting with the 1 Pound Container if your pup is new to blends containing herbs.  This scent is heavy with fresh thyme.

Available in:

Six Pound (96 Oz.) Boxes of portioned patties.  Each of the patties are one pound and are scored into 8 squares that each equal roughly 2 ounces.  We make these by hand, so they might differ slightly, but each box will always be 6 pounds or slightly more.

One Pound (16 Oz.) Container suitable for scooping directly from, or for ease of portioning your own patties.

Two Pound (32 Oz.) Container suitable for scooping directly from, or for ease of portioning your own patties.

Trial Size (2 Oz.) packages of one portioned square.  This is perfect for those not sure if their pet will like it.  

FOR PREORDER ONLY: 40 POUNDS FRESH This must be picked up within 24 hours of our grinding it.  This will come to you in a large box lined with a plastic bag.  You will need to portion this yourself when you get home - this is how we're able to cut the cost down, saving on labor.  If you'd like this, message us and we will email an invoice to you.  We will give you 48 hours notice of when we plan to prepare the grind.
